join our team as a Business Development Manager.
Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager at Coastr, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and strengthening our domestic and global market presence. You will be responsible for building a healthy pipeline of new opportunities, converting prospects into customers, and
ensuring long-term revenue growth from existing client relationships.
This role requires a proactive sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the
ability to collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that create
measurable value for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business & Pipeline Development
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand Coastr’s domestic and global footprint.
* Generate leads and acquire new customers through outbound outreach, inbound engagement, and referral opportunities via Coastr’s partner ecosystem.
* Maintain and follow the company’s sales processes to ensure a robust and effective sales funnel with accurate pipeline management and reporting.
* Represent Coastr in social media initiatives, collaborations, and content that support and aid the sales process.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and untapped opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demos to prospective clients.
* Negotiate and close new customer contracts to establish long-term partnerships.
2. Account-Focused Revenue Growth
* Take ownership of an assigned portfolio of enterprise and strategic clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and revenue expansion.
* Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and aligning Coastr’s solutions to deliver impact.
* Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive incremental revenue within existing accounts.
* Act as the primary commercial point of contact for clients, resolving escalations and ensuring seamless delivery in collaboration with internal teams.
* Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to create tailored solutions and ensure customer adoption.
* Monitor client performance metrics, provide insights, and develop strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
* Track and report on account performance, highlighting growth opportunities and risks to leadership.
Our Requirements:
• SaaS selling experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the tech or vehicle rental industry.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving both new business and account-based growth.
• Strong understanding of the vehicle rental, fleet management, and related industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results- oriented approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as required.
