Commercial Sales Executive Vacancy in Glasgow

Are you a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive looking to advance your career within a well-established automotive environment?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Dealership as a Sales Professional, where you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales performance. This is a permanent Commercial Sales position working 45 hours per week, reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Manager.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate a proven track record in high-volume vehicle sales, combined with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Duties of the Commercial Sales Executive:
8. Achieve and surpass sales targets aligned with KPIs
9. Utilise resources effectively to ensure smooth departmental operations
10. Build strong, long-term customer relationships through professional and ethical interaction
11. Identify customer needs accurately and recommend appropriate products and services
12. Maximise opportunities for new business acquisition
13. Promote and upsell accessories, warranties, and financing options
14. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate this confidently to customers
15. Assist colleagues and support team initiatives to enhance overall performance
16. Contribute to reducing waste and improving process efficiencies
17. Stay updated with relevant FCA qualifications and regulatory compliance
Requirements as a Commercial Sales Executive:
18. Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
19. Proven experience in high-volume vehicle sales
20. Full UK driving license held for at least six months with fewer than nine penalty points
21. Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities
22. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
23. Demonstrable ability to prospect and convert profitable business
24. Strong self-management with proactive ownership of responsibilities
25. Resilience, motivation, and a commitment to personal development
26. Ability to understand and meet both customer and business needs
