LOCATION: Lingfield College
REPORTING TO: Head Chef
OVERALL OBJECTIVES: To perform and assist in a variety of tasks including cleaning, washing, food preparation, carrying and other manual duties as requested by the Head Chef.
HOURS: 30 hrs per week (Term Time Contract) Overtime is available
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.
· To assist in the preparation of food as required.
· To keep the kitchen areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
· To operate some heavy equipment according to manufactures instructions. (Full training will be provided)
· To attend health and safety and food safety training courses as required.
· To ensure cleaning areas under your control are maintained to the company and COSHH standards.
· To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.
This is predominantly a Monday to Friday position but will involve evening and weekend working to support with School events.
This role is subject to an advance DBS check and 2 satisfactory references.
