Job Title: 1st Line Support Technician Location: Birmingham - On site Full Time Day Rate: £150 (Inside IR35) Start Date: Late May / Early June Contract Length: 1 Year I am seeking a skilled and dedicated 1st Line Support Technician with expertise in Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems for a year long contract with one of my sector-leading consultancy clients Job Responsibilities/Objectives Provide first-line support for EPOS systems, resolving hardware and software issues promptly. Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting users via phone, email, or ticketing system. Maintain accurate records of support interactions and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate with technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. Stay updated on EPOS technology trends and share knowledge with colleagues. Required Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will have the following: Previous experience in 1st Line Support, preferably with EPOS systems. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. Knowledge of common EPOS hardware components and remote support tools. Relevant certifications or training in EPOS systems are advantageous.
