The Role
We''re looking for a hands-on Repairs Surveyor with a trade background (carpentry, plumbing, multi-trade). This role is all about diagnosing and surveying repairs across social housing properties, spotting issues others miss, and preparing clear job specs for in-house operatives to carry out.
Responsibilities
* Survey reported repairs in void & occupied properties
* Carry out quick fixes where possible
* Use SOR codes to scope & price works
* Prepare clear instructions for operatives
* Cover kitchens, bathrooms, voids, responsive repairs & more
* Use PDA/iPad for reporting
* Liaise with residents, housing officers & client teams
What We Need From You
* Trade background (carpentry, plumbing, multi-trader)
* Experience surveying repairs in housing
* Strong paperwork & IT/PDA skills
* Clear communicator with tenants & office staff
* Full UK driving licence

The advertised rates are based on working CIS but a PAYE and holiday payment method and rate can be discussed, but this will mean a slight reduction in the advertised headline rate.
