In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of onsite catering operations, including cleaning, washing up, stock rotation, and the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages in line with company and client standards. You will also assist, when required, with filling, cleaning, and maintaining vending machines to ensure they meet Sodexo and client expectations. What You'll Do: Support all aspects of food preparation, presentation, service, and maintaining cleanliness to company standards Deliver excellent customer service, including taking orders, serving at the counter, and operating the till (including cash handling) Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning equipment, surfaces, kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring floors and service areas are safe and tidy Manage stock and service areas, including replenishing counters, rotating stock, preparing for service, and maintaining vending machines Work as part of the team by attending training, supporting ad-hoc functions, covering duties as needed, and reporting any issues, incidents, or customer feedback promptly What You Bring: Food Safety certification with a strong understanding of food hygiene standards Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within a catering environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, clients, and colleagues Strong awareness of standards and compliance requirements Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining high-quality service standards Whatwe offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way.
