A well-established secondary school in Oldham is seeking to appoint a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated support team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HLTA with proven experience working within a secondary school setting who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
The Role
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide whole-class supervision in the absence of a teacher
* Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4
* Provide targeted intervention and small group support
* Work closely with teaching staff to monitor progress and raise attainment
* Support students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive practice
* Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Have recent, proven experience working in a secondary school
* Be confident leading lessons and managing classroom behaviour
* Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
