Are you an organised, proactive planner who thrives in a fast‑paced environment? Calleva is looking for a talented Production Planner to join our team and ensure our production schedules run efficiently, accurately, and in line with customer expectations.
The Role
As our Production Planner, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining a robust production plan across both short- and long-term horizons. You'll ensure schedules are optimised for efficiency while considering machine availability, labour capacity, running times, material availability, and potential production conflicts.
This is a key position requiring strong communication, analytical skills, and a collaborative working style.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead weekly production meetings with team leaders and managers.
* Attend daily production updates to monitor progress and resolve issues.
* Support the development and implementation of new ERP systems, working closely with the ERP Team Lead.
* Manage relationships across production and operations to maximise the efficient use of materials, components, labour, and capacity.
* Reduce plan changes through strong forecasting and strategic collaboration with suppliers.
* Identify and communicate risks or opportunities impacting production.
* Liaise confidently with all internal departments.
* Raise Purchase Orders aligned with production requirements.
* Communicate any supply problems or operational impacts to Directors, SLT, Managers, Production, and Quality teams.
* Ensure data is handled with integrity, security, and confidentiality.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Carry out any additional duties as required by management.
