A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a committed and focused IT professional to join our Technology Team as our 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer at our Head Office in Rotherham. Our days are spent turning people's holiday dreams into a reality, and we make full use of technology to provide our customers with a hassle-free experience. Our Technology Team play an important part in supporting our business and this role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality IT support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
You will act as the primary escalation point for the business, providing troubleshooting, system administration, and support across a wide range of technologies and services. Your key responsibilities will be:
* To provide 1st/2nd line support for incidents and service requests.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, Office 365, networking, printers, and hardware.
* Administer Active Directory, Entra, Group Policy, Exchange, and other core infrastructure services.
* Support remote users and multiple office locations using remote access tools.
* Maintain and update documentation for systems, processes, and known issues.
* Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
* Liaise with 3rd party vendors and service providers when required.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
When will I work?
You'll work an average of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Our usual working day starts at 9.00am and finishes at 5.00pm but flexibility will be needed to support business IT needs as and when they arise.
Where will I be based?
You will be based at our Head Office, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, postcode S60 2XR (This is not a work from home role). Occasional expensed travel to our other offices may be needed.
How much will I be paid?
The salary range for this role is £32,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.

What are the essential requirements for this role?
* Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role or similar.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies:
* Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, Entra.
* Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems,
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
* FreshService/FreshDesk experience.
* Experience with Azure AD (Entra), Azure portal or other cloud-based services.
* Experience with Unified Endpoint Management and Security (UEMS) such as ManageEngine's Endpoint Central.
* Experience with a central managed WiFi management system such as UniFi.
* Exposure to virtualisation technologies (e.g. Hyper-V)
* Scripting or automation experience (e.g. PowerShell, Terraform)
What essential qualifications will the successful applicant have?
* The right to work in the United Kingdom for 37.5 hours per week and without sponsorship.
* Relevant IT certifications are desirable for this role (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft)
* Full UK Driving licence with own transportation (for when travel between sites is required).
