What you’ll be doing
As a Freelance Product Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, effective and memorable training programmes for external clients. Your work will be essential in:
* Driving product adoption and customer confidence
* Improving user proficiency and self-sufficiency
* Ensuring a consistent understanding of product features, updates and best practices
* Creating a positive and professional learning experience that reflects our brand
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering live virtual training sessions, workshops and webinars
* Tailoring content to suit different audiences, levels of technical ability and use cases
* Keeping stakeholders engaged, energised and involved throughout sessions
* Responding confidently to questions and adapting delivery in real time
* Supporting ongoing enablement through documentation, recordings or follow-up materials
* Collaborating with internal product and customer teams where needed
Experience we’re looking for
* Previous experience delivering product or technical training, ideally within a technology environment
* Familiarity with SaaS products or enterprise software (highly desirable)
* Experience training external customers or clients rather than internal-only audiences
* Comfort facilitating virtual learning for individuals and groups

* Excellent presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills
* A confident, engaging and approachable style — you’re comfortable being “on screen”
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, simple language for non-technical audiences
* Adaptable, organised and proactive in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with training and delivery tools (LMS, Zoom, MS Teams)
