Role Overview: The Key Account Executive will lead the commercial strategy and performance within the designated geographic area, focusing on distribution, pouring agreements, and activation activities. The role involves leading the area team, managing relationships, and executing plans to meet sales and distribution goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate performance with sales, quality, and activation teams.
2. Secure distribution and pouring agreements with approximately 150 outlets for the full Diageo portfolio.
3. Manage ROI through contractual agreements, spending, and planning with key customers.
4. Achieve the annual operating plan aligned with field sales ambitions.
5. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
6. Manage route-to-market relationships within the city.
7. Supervise outlet performance and execution, utilizing CRM systems where applicable.
8. Ensure the quality and serve standard of Guinness draught, supported by the quality team.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
1. Experience in sales within retail, FMCG, or similar fast-moving sectors.
2. Ability to foster positive customer and route-to-market relationships.
3. Commercial acumen, experience with P&L management, and numeracy skills.
4. Knowledge of the local area or city of operation.
5. Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed in a challenging environment.
6. Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
7. Flexible and responsive to business needs.
