A growing construction and refurbishment services provider is seeking an experienced Responsive Repairs Co-Ordinator to join their team in Billericay. This role is perfect for someone with a background in social housing repairs or property maintenance, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities:
* Schedule and manage repair works for residential, commercial, and industrial properties
* Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and follow-up on completed works
* Maintain accurate records of repair requests and job progress
* Communicate with contractors and in-house teams to ensure timely completion
* Track and report on ongoing repairs and related costs
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
* Ensure compliance with company and health & safety policies
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in repairs and maintenance (required)
* Experience in social housing or construction environments preferred
* Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office and scheduling software
* Knowledge of responsive repairs or facilities management is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
