Help Lead a Vibrant Campus Retail Experience: Deputy Store Manager Morrisons Daily. As Deputy Store Manager of our Morrisons Daily store, based in a dynamic University setting, you'll play a key role in delivering a top-tier retail experience for students, staff, and the wider community. You'll work closely with the Retail Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, taking ownership of key processes and driving performance through visibility, leadership, and innovation. Make a Difference Every Day Support and deputise for the Retail Manager, helping to lead and inspire a team committed to customer excellence. Deliver consistent commercial performance by maintaining high operational standards and stock availability. Take initiative to improve store operations and the customer offer through innovation and data-driven insights. Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members in an inclusive and empowering environment. Build meaningful connections with the student body and local community to strengthen engagement and service. Help manage budgets, interpret sales and operational data, and prepare reports to inform continuous improvement. Play a key role in driving forward store targets, team accountability, and positive culture on the shop floor. You'll Thrive if You Have: Experience in a customer-facing retail or convenience environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership role. A passion for excellent customer service and a can-do attitude. Strong people skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams. Commercial awareness and confidence working with sales and performance targets. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to a fast-moving retail environment. Further information This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days, and being flexible whilst working to a rota.
