About the role


As a Strategic Energy Partner, you will play a crucial part in managing a portfolio of key, national accounts ensuring Flogas and DCC Energy UK’s success as a trusted energy partner.

You will focus on building strong relationships with customers, understanding their corporate priorities, and crafting multi-product value propositions that align with their needs. By collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you’ll position Flogas and our group companies as a valuable energy solution for your clients.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities through consultative selling and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, working in collaboration with C-Suite level directors within the portfolio. You will deliver profitable market share growth in the B2B sector, through the development of strong commercial propositions, excellent customer service and effective sales leadership.


What you will be doing


The principal function of the role is to deliver first class customer experiences and profitable market share growth in the Commercial sector, through the development of strong commercial propositions, excellent customer service, and effective sales leadership.

The ‘Energy Partner’ offering is of strategic importance to Flogas Britain. The role will look to expand uptake of the various products and services available across the wider group, including Solar, CHP, HVAC, Energy Procurement Services, Net Zero Consultancy, Biofuels and Energy Management Services.

The role will require balancing the delivery of strong margin performance, alongside generating new business, supporting with retention of our key accounts and accountable for the delivery of excellent customer service across all streams.

You will be a highly visible and authentic sales account manager, driving high performance across a varied portfolio and actively managing against a set of targets and KPIs.

Essential

·Significant sales experience with a deep understanding of strategic account management, customers and sales channels, with a demonstrable track record of growing business

·Successful track-record influencing executives across a customer’s organisation, up to and including C-suite selling

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as negotiation and influencing skills in a matrix environment – both with internal organisations and within client organisations

·Ability to review and interpret financial statements and reports

·Strong analytical skills with the ability to screen and absorb information on various topics from multiple sources and synthesise it to make meaningful recommendations

Flogas Britain is one of the largest distributors of off-grid energy in the UK and has over 35 years’ experience of providing solutions to both commercial and domestic customers, principally in the form of liquid gas. The business has a longstanding record of organic growth driven by new installations, underpinned by a strong technical engineering expertise and capability, which combined with a number of bolt-on acquisitions have resulted in its market share increasing from 10% to over 30%.
