Description and Requirements
The Business Operations Lead will partner directly with the Head of HCS & AI Pre-Sales; including the Power & Cooling (PnC) business; to drive operational excellence, strategic execution, and workforce capability development during a period of rapid growth and transformation.
This role acts as a central integrator across technical, regional, and cross-functional teams, enabling the organization to scale effectively across AI, Power & Cooling, and the convergence of HPC and AI workloads. A major focus will be designing and driving the upskilling and capability roadmap needed for the team to stay ahead of evolving customer demands, emerging technologies, and new vertical growth opportunities.
This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strong strategic thinking, operational discipline, cross-functional influence, and the ability to simplify complexity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations & Business Rhythm
1. Build and manage the operating cadence for HCS & AI Pre-Sales (Power & Cooling) including leadership reviews, planning cycles, KPI dashboards, and QBR materials.
2. Translate high-level strategy into clear programs, milestones, and execution plans.
3. Consolidate data, insights, and operational metrics to support decision-making and strategic clarity.
4. Prepare high-impact presentations, analyses, and briefings for senior leadership.
2. Strategic Initiatives & Cross-Functional Execution
5. Lead priority initiatives involving AI, Power & Cooling, HPC convergence, and vertical expansion.
6. Manage cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, CTO, Delivery, HR, Finance, and Geo teams.
7. Identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs; proactively drive resolution to maintain momentum.
8. Improve processes to increase operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
3. Organizational Upskilling & Workforce Capability
9. Co-own the skills transformation roadmap for HCS & AI Pre-Sales, ensuring teams are prepared for future-state requirements.
10. Conduct skill assessments, identify capability gaps, and partner with HR/L&D to build targeted upskilling programs.
11. Support the development of technical learning pathways for AI, HPC, PnC, and hybrid solution areas.
12. Track progress and measure the impact of capability and upskilling initiatives.
4. Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
13. Serve as a central coordination point across global teams to ensure alignment on priorities and progress.
14. Provide clear, concise communication that enhances clarity across internal and external stakeholders.
15. Build strong working relationships across verticals to support growth and customer impact.
16. Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy in communications coming from the organization.
Required Qualifications
17. 5–8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, program management, consulting, or technical program leadership.
18. Strong ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives within a technical or engineering-centric environment.
19. Excellent communication and executive presence; able to synthesize information and influence across multiple levels.
20. Demonstrated ability to operate independently, exercise judgment, and navigate ambiguity.
21. Strong analytical skillset with experience working with data, KPIs, and executive reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
22. Experience in AI, HPC, Power & Cooling, data center infrastructure, or related technical domains.
23. Background in workforce capability programs, upskilling, L&D, or organizational development.
24. Familiarity with pre-sales workflows or technical consulting.
25. Experience supporting senior leadership in a rapidly evolving business environment.
