A unique opportunity to lead the Council’s property management services across a diverse estate, which includes an extensive commercial property portfolio. We are looking for a competent property professional with excellent business and commercial acumen who can improve the performance of the council’s asset base and increase its net commercial income. We have a significant transformational agenda, a new Corporate Plan and a refreshed Transformational and Commercial Board and this role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively on projects and initiatives that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the current service; grow the annual rental income and generate new revenue streams. These are top Council priorities, and this post will play a key role in aligning the Council’s property assets with the strategic aims and direction of the Council.
