About the Role
Ryder Architecture is hiring two full‑time Landscape Architects - one in London and one in Newcastle. The role focuses on creating landscape designs that are inspiring, add value for clients, support end users, enhance nature, and respond to climate challenges. You would work closely with multidisciplinary teams across a broad range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop creative landscape design concepts that are functional, sustainable, and climate‑responsive.
Contribute to projects across multiple sectors, collaborating with architects, urban designers, and engineers.
Produce design and technical outputs, including drawings, plans, and presentation material.
Apply site planning principles and sustainable design thinking.
Engage with clients and support project coordination activities.
Required Skills & Capabilities
Strong design and technical skills in landscape architecture and site planning.
Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.Revit training is provided, but candidates are expected to be willing to upskill.
Project management and coordination abilities, with experience working in multidisciplinary environments.
Excellent communication and client‑engagement skills.
A proactive, positive attitude with strong problem‑solving and creative thinking abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
Open to both graduate and chartered landscape architects.
A portfolio demonstrating strong design capability
