We are seeking an SEN Teacher who can create a positive and engaging learning environment that supports every child to achieve their full potential — both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher
* Plan, deliver and adapt high-quality lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
* Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to promote progress and well-being.
* Assess and monitor students’ development, providing detailed feedback and reports.
Requirements of an SEN Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) essential.
* Experience working with pupils with SEN (in mainstream or specialist settings).
* Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour management strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive, flexible, and compassionate approach to teaching
