This Business Development & Marketing Specialist is positioned in a leading international law firm and will be responsible for leading and supporting various business development efforts and initiatives for a number of European practices and lawyers, with an emphasis on the Firm’s market-leading asset management practice.
Responsibilities
* Business Development Support: Collaborates on creating customized materials like pitches, presentations, and RFPs to support client engagement and attorney promotion.
* Event and Profile Building: Assists in organizing events (in-person and virtual) and works with PR to enhance the firm’s visibility through thought leadership and topical content.
* Content and Data Management: Maintains client and engagement lists, updates the firm’s website and marketing collateral to reflect current expertise and experience.
* Research and Intelligence: Conducts business and competitive research to support client development and strategic planning.
* Directory Submissions: Helps draft submissions for legal directories, coordinating with lawyers to gather and present relevant practice information.
* Marketing Opportunities: Identifies speaking engagements, awards, and other visibility opportunities, and manages business development calendars.
* Matter Capture and Promotion: Supports the documentation and promotion of case experience, coordinating with PR for external visibility.
* Strategic Execution: Aids in implementing business plans and practice initiatives, and contributes to special projects.
* Team Collaboration: Supports colleagues across business development and practice groups, including diversity and associate initiatives.
* Quality Assurance: Ensures all materials produced are accurate, consistent, and of high quality.
The successful candidate for this role will have minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and/or business development within the legal or professional services industries. Experience with content related to investment funds a plus.
