Credit Controller – Weston-super-Mare – Full time - £28k - £32k – Initial 6 month contract with potential to become permanent – Hybrid working after probation

Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively assigned to recruit an experienced Credit Controller for an urgent requirement with a well established and purpose driven organisation. This is a hands on role offering a good level of autonomy and variety. You will take ownership of your own ledger, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure cash is collected efficiently while maintaining strong working relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own ledger and maintaining strong cash collection performance
- Chasing outstanding debt in a professional and effective manner
- Ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date
- Producing aged debt reports and highlighting key risks
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve queries and disputes
- Monitoring credit limits and supporting risk management
- Assisting with wider finance tasks where required
We are seeking someone with previous experience in credit control who is confident working in a busy environment. Strong communication skills, good Excel knowledge, and the ability to stay organised and proactive will be key.
Experience with ERP systems would be beneficial, and any exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be advantageous.
