Job Description
We are working exclusively with a growing and well-regarded construction business to appoint a Junior Estimator as part of their expanding commercial function.
This role is ideally suited to someone with 2-3 years' industry experience who is looking to build a long-term career in estimating, with clear progression into a more senior position over time.
The OpportunityYou will join an experienced pre-construction team and gain hands-on exposure to the full tendering process, supporting the delivery of accurate and commercially competitive bids across a diverse project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Producing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
* Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and analyse quotations
* Supporting bid strategy and value engineering exercises
* Maintaining cost data and assisting with pricing benchmarks
* Working closely with senior estimators on live tenders
About You
* 2-3 years' experience in construction (estimating, commercial, or quantity surveying background)
* Strong interest in developing a career in pre-construction / estimating
* Good numerical and analytical ability with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working with Excel; exposure to estimating software is advantageous
* Proactive, motivated, and keen to learn within a fast-paced environment
