Business Support OfficerLocation: Oldbury (office-based, 5 days per week)Hours: 37 hours per weekContract: Temporary until 31st March 2026 (possible extension)Pay: £13.26 – £13.90 per hour (PAYE), depending on experienceWe are recruiting a Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative support within a busy public sector environment. This is a full-time, office-based role requiring strong organisation skills and attention to detail.Key DutiesUpdating and maintaining internal case management systemsEnsuring accuracy and consistency of records and informationSupporting operational staff with system updates and reporting requirementsManaging incoming post, emails, and messages and escalating urgent mattersMaintaining electronic files, including scanning and uploading documentsCompleting allocated tasks within agreed timescalesEssential RequirementsPrevious experience in an administrative or business support roleNVQ Level 1 in Business Administration (or equivalent)Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage diaries and prioritise workloadDesirableExperience using case management systemsAdditional InformationFull-time applicants onlyMust be able to travel to OldburyStandard DBS check requiredImmediate start preferredIf you are a reliable and organised administrator looking for your next opportunity, apply now.NRG is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
