The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established and growing precision engineering business based in Durham. Operating within the Oil & Gas and Aerospace sectors, this company has recently invested in new machinery and strengthened its management team, making it an exciting time to come on board.
This is a varied and technically engaging role, working on bespoke components and small batch production using high-spec materials.
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes
* Working with Mazatrol conversational programming
* Manufacturing one-off components and small batch runs
* Machining exotic materials such as Inconel, Super Duplex, and Titanium
* Producing parts to tight tolerances in line with industry standards
* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Maintaining high standards of quality and precision
Requirements
1. Time-served engineer with proven CNC turning experience
2. Strong background using Mazak lathes
3. Experience with Mazatrol programming
