Overview
Fugro is looking for an Engineer to join its Structural Monitoring team based in Aberdeen, part of the Fugro Marine Asset Integrity (MAI) business line.
The team works with data to provide asset integrity solutions for offshore energy structures. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of projects – from design and assembly to data processing and reporting.
About the Team
The office is the centre of excellence within Fugro for the work and projects delivered worldwide in conjunction with other regional Fugro offices. You will work with engineers, technicians and field staff, and interact with clients, suppliers and stakeholders. Occasional offshore site work, including abroad, may be required.

What You’ll Need To Thrive In This Role
* A degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Physics) is required.

Typical Day – Responsibilities
* Project delivery – design calculations, testing and troubleshooting sensor packages and data acquisition equipment; writing procedures for testing and installation; generating quality control documentation, and managing health and safety responsibilities.
* Propose suggestions for improvement; preparing and checking technical documentation, designs and calculations in support of projects.
