Seeking a seasoned Senior User Researcher to drive impactful projects in agile environments. As a key member of the team, you will lead user-centred design initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to business development.
User-Centred Design Responsibilities:
* Scope and deliver components of end-to-end user research activities
* Recommend and execute appropriate user research activities based on project needs
* Create and maintain phase-appropriate user research deliverables
* Communicate project problems, scopes, and success criteria to diverse audiences
* Respond to challenges and support the team to reach a resolution
Stakeholder Management:
* Effectively communicate with stakeholders within the client team, ensuring alignment and buy-in
* Upskill and educate stakeholders and colleagues on user-centred design approaches and methods
* Show commercial awareness and identify opportunities for cross-selling services
* Raise blockers or risks within the delivery for the team
Business Development:
* Support the creation of persuasive business proposals
* Apply UCD and agile approaches to bids for transformation projects
Community Development:
* Contribute to the evolution of the company's user-centred design strategy
* Support the development of propositions and 'points of view' for applying design thinking approaches
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of relevant user research experience within agile teams and complex programmes
* Demonstrated application of user research methods and tools
* Proven experience in conducting user research and translating findings into actionable insights
* Experience in consultancy and mentoring
* Familiarity with GDS/NHS service standards and assessments
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Facilitation skills for remote and in-person workshops, meetings, and research sessions
