Role Overview:
Our partner SEND School are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting students’ learning and wellbeing, working closely with teachers and staff to ensure that all learners can thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities.
2. Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need extra help.
3. Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
4. Support students’ personal development and monitor their progress.
5. Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching and learning.
Person Specification:
6. Experience working with children or young adults is desirable.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
9. Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
