An opportunity has arisen for 2 x Personal Assistants to provide support to a lady within her own home to remain independent. Our client is interested in in going to the theatre, creative writing, and illustration so somebody with similar interests would be ideal. As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include: • Domestic – including tidying and opening/filing mail. • Implementing routines and initiating tasks such as eating, drinking, booking, and getting to appointments and encouragement to help stay on task. • Shopping – including meal planning, shopping, and budgeting. • Social support – to include developing social skills, building relationships and accompanying to/from activities. We are looking for caring, proactive, and motivated individuals with a passion for supporting others. Previous experience in a caring role is desirable but not essential, however experience/knowledge of autism would be ideal. A positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean license is not essential but desirable.
