GSL Education are looking for a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools in Dinnington (S25), providing support to pupils with special educational needs and helping them engage positively in learning. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support individual pupils or small groups, helping to create a structured and supportive classroom environment where every child can reach their potential. Key Duties: Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist students in accessing the curriculum and staying engaged in lessons. Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Help implement individual education and support plans. Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff. Essential Requirements: Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. Understanding of supporting children with special educational needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one). What’s in It for You?
