Maintenance & Construction General Technician
Location: Peterborough, North of Peterborough, or York
Salary: £29,000 basic + benefits package
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
Are you a multi-skilled technician with a passion for building, maintenance, and high-quality workmanship? An exciting opportunity awaits to join a growing, fast-paced property services team working across residential, commercial, and industrial properties in the North of England.
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance & Construction General Technician who’s ready to hit the ground running and contribute to a collaborative, skilled trades team shaping the future of property maintenance and development.
What You'll Do
1. Deliver general maintenance and construction works across various properties
2. Undertake a broad range of tasks including carpentry, electrical, and painting & decorating works
3. Support site set-ups and assist with small-scale project works as needed
4. Communicate effectively with site managers, other trades, and tenants to ensure work is completed to high standards
5. Maintain accurate documentation and report on task progress, material usage, and issues
6. Adhere to all health and safety protocols and company policies
7. Represent the team with professionalism and pride, delivering outstanding customer service
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in general building works and property maintenance
* Proven skills in carpentry, electrical work, and painting & decorating
* Hands-on project delivery and small works management
* Confident in using IT tools for scheduling, reporting, and documentation
* A strong, customer-focused approach with a can-do attitude
* Valid driver’s licence (essential)
