Role Overview
In this full‑time position, you will play a key role in delivering high quality, person‑centred social work practice. You will work with adults with a range of complex needs, empowering individuals to live independently and safely while ensuring statutory duties and best practice standards are met.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality, person‑centred social work practice to adults with complex needs, empowering them to live independently and safely.
* Undertake strengths‑based assessments and develop personalised care and support plans.
* Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary services, carers and families.
* Manage a varied and complex caseload with confidence and professionalism.
* Apply legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and safeguarding procedures.
* Make defensible decisions that promote wellbeing and positive outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational and professional standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in social work practice with adults, ideally in a public sector or community setting.
* Proficiency in assessment, risk management and safeguarding adults.
* Strong ability to build effective relationships with service users, families, and partner agencies.
* Commitment to safeguarding, child and adult welfare.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
* Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship will be considered).
* Requires a DBS disclosure.
* Commitment to working autonomously and as part of a team.
