Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Painter to join a team working on a site in Leicster This role requires a professional and detail-focused individual, capable of working in a clean and safety-sensitive environment. Work involves both internal and external painting as part of a refurbishment project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming
2. Applying emulsion, gloss, undercoat, and specialist coatings as required
3. Carrying out high-standard finishing work on walls, ceilings, woodwork, and trims
4. Working cleanly and efficiently within a live or semi-live hospital environment
5. Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a tidy workspace
6. Complying with site health and safety procedures, especially in clinical areas
7. Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator on commercial or institutional sites
9. Valid CSCS card
10. Full PPE and own tools/brushes/rollers
11. High attention to detail and ability to produce quality finish work
12. Reliable, punctual, and respectful of working in sensitive environments
