Prospero Teaching is looking for a hardworking SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school based in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. The school is a welcoming and inclusive primary setting with a supportive leadership team that fosters academic excellence and the holistic development of all pupils. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to thrive both in and out of the classroom. This position is open to all qualified candidates with a passion for supporting children and making a positive impact in education. Prior SEN or LSA experience is preferred but not essential. Contract / Position Details: Location: Whitefield, Greater Manchester Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work: One-to-one support with a SEN pupil, assist with lesson activities, help assess pupil progress, support classroom learning, and invigilate tests as required Start date: November 2025 Duration: 1-term contract (potential for extension) End date: End of Autumn Term (Term 1) Contract type: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time Pay rate: Dependent on experience and pay scale Hours: 8:30 am - 15:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) Experience, Training and Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year's experience supporting SEN or working as an LSA in KS1 or KS2 (preferred but not required) Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the past year Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Have the right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one) Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
