An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join a specialist independent day school in Loughborough. The school supports children and young people aged 7–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside other complex learning profiles including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September, offering the chance to make a lasting impact in a nurturing, therapeutic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons up to GCSE level
* Create engaging, differentiated learning experiences tailored to individual needs
* Foster strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues
* Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
* Support students in managing behaviours and building resilience
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN or SEMH setting
* A trauma-informed, child-centred approach to education
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
