What the Job Involves The role primarily focuses on supporting homeless or at-risk youth aged 16 and 17. As part of the Homeless Intervention Team, you will work with young individuals to help them stay with their families when safe. You will assess and provide support for their independent living skills, ensuring a positive transition into appropriate accommodations. You will handle cases sensitively, liaise with multiple agencies, and sometimes represent in court. Critical responsibilities include assessing child needs, creating outcome-focused plans, maintaining records, and participating in ongoing training.
