Job Description:
MCS Group is seeking multiple Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a large-scale food manufacturer based in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary ranging from £48,000 to £52,416.
Your Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation support to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance following SAP PM and site procedures.
2. Monitoring plant performance and implementing corrective actions to maximize uptime.
3. Performing Point-of-Work risk assessments and adhering to SOPs and safety practices.
4. Updating asset registers and maintenance records via tablet devices.
5. Participating in root-cause analyses after breakdowns or deviations.
6. Handover work effectively during shift changes and communicate with stakeholders.
7. Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
About You:
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
* Recent maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong cross-trade skills with a flexible, multi-skilled approach.
* Proven problem-solving skills with logical fault-finding techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
* Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and under pressure.
