We are looking for a dedicated and outstanding Geography Teacher to join our Humanities department in September 2025 on a permanent, full time basis.
What does this job do?
* To plan and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students
* To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
* To encourage and deliver a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
* To contribute to raising student attainment
What are the job requirements?
* QTS Qualification
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of national and examination curricular requirements of the subject.
* Excellent knowledge of Geography.
* Established ability to plan lessons with clear objectives to ensure progression for all students
* Established as an effective teacher across Key stage 3/4
* An in-depth understanding and commitment to safeguarding children and young people
* Some experience of successfully teaching to KS3-KS4 students, with a clear understanding of the teaching provision required in secondary schools
* A second Humanities subject would be beneficial.
