SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND.
* Assist in the delivery of learning activities, as well as emotional regulation and behaviour support.
* Support pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to enhance educational outcomes.
* Accompany pupils to off-site provisions as required, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
* Must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to your own car.
* Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
* Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with pupils and staff.
