An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated receptionist to join our team as part of a quality improvement programme at Churchtown Medical Centre.
We are looking to appoint a Medical Receptionist who possess the skills to support the smooth day to day running of the Practice.
Answering telephone calls in a courteous and helpful manner from patients and other healthcare services on our busy switchboard, ensuring calls are dealt with quickly and carefully, and are documented and redirected when necessary. Responding to queries from patients and other staff, including GPs, nurses and medical secretaries or refer to appropriate person
~ General office administration, including scanning, making outbound calls to patients, electronic filing.

Churchtown Medical Centre is one of the leading GP practice in Southport and it is located at137 Cambridge Road, Southport, Merseyside, PR9 7LT with a patient list size of over 9000 and fully equipped with a Clinical & non Clinical resources to provide best care to the community.

~ Ensure requirements for repeat prescriptions are actioned in accordance with Practice policy and procedures

~ You will also possess a strong team ethos, will be friendly and able to convey a positive image of the practice to patients and Partners and will be ready to work with our existing reception team. The role will be challenging and rewarding and will provide the opportunity for advancement and development. Full training will be given.
