About the Role
Are you an experienced leader looking for a truly rewarding environment? Were recruiting on behalf of our client for an Ofsted Registered Children's Manager to take the reins at an Outstanding-rated residential children's home in High Wycombe.
The home supports three children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and is staffed by a skilled and dedicated teamincluding three Deputy Children's Managers and up to eight Residential Support Workers. With regular input from the Responsible Individual, consistent support from a Regulation 44 consultant, and an experienced senior leadership structure, youll be empowered to lead confidently, creatively, and with heart.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care and support
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including rota management and staff supervision
* Ensure the home remains compliant with Ofsted standards and continues to aim for Outstanding outcomes
* Champion safeguarding, behaviour support, and trauma-informed practice
* Recruit, train, and retain exceptional care staff
* Collaborate with external agencies, families, and internal teams to ensure integrated care planning
* Prepare for inspections and drive quality improvement initiatives
Person Specification
* Registered Children's Manager experience (or Deputy Manager ready to step up)
* NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or working toward)
* Deep understanding of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and child development
* Strong organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Passion for creating safe, empowering, and nurturing environments for young people
* Knowledge of safeguarding, regulation, and compliance within children's residential services
* Able to lead with empathy, accountability, and a commitment to team wellbeing
