Responsibilities
* Work as part of the Mechanical team and the maintenance team, managing your own workload.
* Liaise with people within your department and across Trust sites.
* Attend maintenance requests, on-call urgent call outs and weekly planned maintenance work orders.
* Carry out maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant and equipment throughout East and North Herts NHS Trust Estate.
* Provide technical engineering advice and support for equipment, fabric and utility services for the trust.
Qualifications
* Mechanical or plumbing background.
* Experience in maintenance and installation work for facilities, plant and equipment.
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
* Willingness to commute between various hospital sites (mileage allowance will be paid).
