The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a dynamic and successful team. You will be responsible for managing existing client accounts, developing new opportunities, and delivering tailored technical solutions from initial enquiry through to project completion. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of client interaction, technical problem-solving, and seeing projects through from concept to delivery.

Your Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key part in driving business growth by building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop an existing client portfolio within a defined area
* Identify and develop new project opportunities with existing customers
* Follow up and progress new enquiries from Head Office
* Attend client and site meetings to understand requirements
* Develop and present tailored technical solutions
* Prepare detailed quotations and project proposals
* Support CAD measurement and surveying requirements for manufacturing
* Work closely with installation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Monitor installation quality to ensure client satisfaction
* Assist with RAMS, project programmes (Gantt charts), and pre-contract documentation
* Attend weekly client meetings on larger projects
* Represent the business at trade shows and industry events
* Attend monthly internal sales meetings via Teams
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling engineered or technical products
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Confident negotiator with a proven track record of success
* Good understanding of basic civil engineering principles
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong organisational and project coordination skills
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Working Hours
Monday to Friday / 8:00am – 5:00pm
