Job Description Classroom support are excited to be working with a large Primary school near Biggin Hill who are looking to recruit a large number of SEN Teaching Assistants to support in their SEN provision. The new provision is opening is receiving a large number of EHCP statemented children with a range of specialist support needs. You will be based in the school for the remainder of the academic year, at minimum, working with pupils with needs ranging from ASD to Moderate and Severe Learning difficulties. The school have a high number of SEN children and range from Early Years up to latter KS2. You will then move into the new school provision to continue support your 1:1 pupil in a brand new learning provision. Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm and the pay is between £90 per day. Term time only. It is essential that you have some of the the below experience: Experience of supporting children with challenging behaviour associated with their learning difficulties. A keen understanding of being able to create bonds with pupils that find learning difficult due to their own complex Learning Difficulties and SEN support needs. Experience of working in either a Primary School, SEN unit or care setting highly advantageous. Being of a firm nature when necessary with behaviour management, but also compassionate and sensitive to others. Any experience of working with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome is highly advantageous. The rate of pay is £85 per day for the right candidate.
