Overview
Saltley Academy, Birmingham, United Kingdom. As Behaviour Support Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders to lead on behaviour systems across the academy. You will manage day-to-day interventions including detentions, suspensions, on-call responses, and managed moves. A key element of your role will be leading our Reflection Hub, mentoring students and delivering targeted support to those experiencing behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate behaviour management systems, including detentions, on-calls, and suspensions.
* Mentor and support students in the Reflection Hub to help them re-engage with learning.
* Oversee reintegration plans and alternative provision transitions.
* Work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and pastoral teams.
* Monitor student progress and behaviour data, using insights to inform interventions.
* Promote a consistent and restorative approach to behaviour across the school.
