GSL Education are actively recruiting a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support schools throughout Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 districts, ensuring consistent classroom support and continuity of learning. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will step into the classroom to maintain a positive learning atmosphere, follow pre-set lesson plans, and encourage student engagement while upholding school expectations. Main Responsibilities: Provide effective classroom supervision as a Cover Supervisor, ensuring learning continues in the teacher’s absence. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support students to stay focused and complete assigned work. Communicate any concerns or feedback to relevant staff members. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Flexibility, reliability, and confidence in managing groups. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
