We are currently recruiting for Team Leader – to join our team at Integra Riversdale
Riversdale is a residential care home for 10 individuals with a mental health diagnosis, we have two houses Riversdale House and the Coach House, which are separated by gardens.
The Coach House provides support for those who are almost ready for move on into their own properties, this comprises of 4 bedrooms, 3 communal bathroom/shower rooms, a large communal lounge, dining room and kitchen.
Riversdale House has 5 ensuite bedrooms and 1 self-contained flat; it isacare home that provides rehabilitation support for male adults wanting to live independently within the community.
The role is 37.5 hours a week and shifts will be across a 7 day rota that will includes days, waking nights and weekends.

The role of a National Care Group Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will promote and ensure that the company vision of person-centred support is implemented whilst maintaining an individual’s potential and independence. You will be a front-line manager, whilst also ensuring all necessary back office duties are completed within compliance.
A Team Leader is required to respect and work cooperatively with others, enabling the people we support to live in their own home or within their local community with dignity and confidence. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the manager in staff development and delivery of training.
* Leading the staff in promoting each individual’s well-being, safety and quality of life.
* Monitor and assist the effective delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed goals.
* Participate in on call rota (additional payment received)
* Ensure that liaison with external parties within their areas of responsibility is coordinated effectively with the home manager to ensure that communication is effective and consistent within the home.
* Work in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.
* Meet agreed individual annual objectives.
* Promote well-being, safety and quality of life
What qualities do you need to be a great support worker?
* Have a QCF Level 4 or willing to work towards this, must have a minimum of a QCF Level 3 .
* Experience of leading, supervising and motivating a team
* A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals.
* A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
* Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
* Excellent listening and communication skills.
