The role & you Sitting within our Waste Services Department you will play a key role in supporting the Landfill Supervisor in the efficient operation of our Gloucester Waste Management Facility. This position involves a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. You will have a basic understanding of EPA License conditions along with good customer service skills to effectively interact with facility users. Additionally, experience in cash handling and basic computer literacy is required to manage transactions and perform necessary administrative tasks. We are seeking a reliable, team-focused individual who demonstrates a commitment to working safely and delivering high quality outcomes for our community. Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component) Why work with us? Salary: Commencing hourly rate of $28.29/hour plus superannuation. Penalty rates apply where applicable. Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the Gloucester Waste Management Facility located at 385 Thunderbolts Way, Gloucester.
