We are working with a welcoming primary school looking for a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for Computing and digital learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils across the school while helping to develop and deliver engaging computing lessons. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver small group and whole-class sessions, support the integration of technology in the classroom, and inspire pupils to develop their digital skills in a safe and creative environment. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with children across a variety of age groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in their studies. Responsibilities Deliver planned lessons and cover classes across the school, with a particular focus on Computing Support teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons Help pupils develop key digital skills, including coding, online safety, and the use of educational technology Provide targeted support for pupils who may need extra help with learning tasks Requirements HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level in a primary school Strong understanding of the primary Computing curriculum Confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom when required A proactive, flexible approach and passion for supporting children’s learning At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
