Overview
This is a three/four nights away job. May be a possibility to work on 4/5 day pattern. No weekends unless agreed previously. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering new and used vehicles to a variety of customers, including businesses, private individuals, retailers, auction sites, and rental companies. Additionally, you will provide customers with a demonstration of the vehicles controls and features. Must be able to start third week of June. Please see our FB page to see
* Driving a 7.2t double decker Iveco with sleeping pod and a trailer, transporting various vehicles to showrooms, auction houses and private customers
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
* Using app on a device to complete POD's and POC's
* Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but not essential
* A good understanding of the EU drivers' hours and working time rules
Qualifications
* Valid UK driving licence with a category C1 + E entitlement (grandfathers rights not enough), tacho card, valid CPC
* Previous experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or as a recovery driver
* Basic mechanical knowledge
* Flexibility to work varied hours as required by the business needs
* On occasion, you may be required to operate a 4x4 vehicle with a trailer.
Please note that the insurer does not cover individuals with CCJs (County Court Judgments) or bankruptcies.
Class 2 licence is not sufficient. C1 +E or C + E only.
