It is an exciting time within Wood Commissioning Services and we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Lead Commissioning Engineers to support a range of onshore and offshore projects across the UK, based in Aberdeen at Sir Ian Wood House.
This contract opportunity will play a key role in delivering critical commissioning phases on major projects. Engagement will be on a Limited Company contractor basis, operating outside IR35.

Qualifications:
1. HNC / HND (or equivalent) in suitable Engineering subject
2. Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering related background an advantage
3. BOSIET / MIST / OGUK Medical
4. IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc)
5. Company mandatory training (Induction, risk awareness etc)
6. Task Risk Management Trained Person
7. Conversant with Project Management Systems
8. PTW Awareness
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
9. Demonstrable experience in similar role, with a proven background of delivery
10. Strong multidiscipline experience in O&G system commissioning, start-up and operations
11. Recognised O&G process commissioning background
12. Experienced in O&G systems commissioning and testing
13. Familiar with O&G process equipment, start-up and operation
14. Experienced in planning and coordinating system commissioning activities
15. Experienced in running multidiscipline HAZOP's / Risk assessment reviews
16. Experienced in the management of system commissioning personnel / team
17. Extensive knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
18. Experienced in the development and coaching of team members
19. Ability to interface and interact with Client Representatives at all levels
20. Offshore experience in similar role
21. Conversant with HR practices / processes
22. Conversant with TRM / Audit process
23. Ability to demonstrate effective and efficient management of processes and personnel
24. Ability to demonstrate high level understanding of HSE safe working practices and procedures and their implementation
25. Ability to manage / maintain budget / schedule requirements
26. Fully conversant with the completions and commissioning process
27. Ability to interpret project procedures, standards, specifications and drawings including PFD's / P&ID's / SLD's / C&E's etc
28. Ability to produce system commissioning strategy documents and review / approve commissioning procedures
29. Able to develop / review and approve design of temporary minor utility systems and supplies
30. IT literate in all major software packages (Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc)
31. Able to implement, manage and audit Permit to Work procedure and Isolation procedures
32. Familiar with national / international O&G industry legislation, standards and specifications
33. Conversant with completions management software and its functionality
34. Good level of understanding of construction / commissioning processes
