We are currently seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator for container work based in Aberdeen. This is a temporary ongoing position offering a 40-hour working week, with an immediate start available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Carry out repairs to offshore CCU’s and tanks
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks to improve safety and aesthetics of CCU
* Carry out visual inspection on all CCU’s · Perform cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Ability to work to a high standard or workmanship.
* Ability to learn new skills.
* Work to tight deadlines in a safe and accurate manner.
* Ability to work unsupervised in diligent and safe manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Prior welding experience
* Certified to carry out Secondary Structure Fillet Welds (EPD016)
* Basic fabrication experience
* Ability to perform fabrication work to offshore standard DNV 2.7-1
